It is once again our pleasure to have announce the 7th annual Unity Cup of Iran on Memorial Weekend 2012.

Each year that passes by, we gather wonderful memories, in a fun filled soccer tournament in a one of the most beautiful parts of this country. It has truly become a "memorial weekend" for the teams that are here every year and each year look forward to coming down to Orange county and enjoy the environment, meet their friends and have a few challenging soccer games while at it.

This year we will have the same format as last year, having two divisions "open", and "over 40". These brackets worked well for everyone last year and we will continue the same format in order to have everyone that wants to play, have a chance to do so.
There are no restrictions on the number of Non-Iranian players, the only restriction is that you MUST be over 40 , in order to play over 40, and anyone under the age of 40 , can and should play Open division.

Please stay tuned for more details of this tournament as we are starting to re-sign the last year's teams along with 3 new teams that are joining the tournament this year.
We are also proud to have had a very successful "open" division last year having 4 competitive teams , who displayed wonderful level of soccer, with the winner taking the cash prize home. We are also hoping to increase the open division to 6 teams and the over 40 to 12 teams.
